Kohanaiki is a private club community on the Kona Coast of Hawai‘i, blending luxury living with a deep connection to land, sea, and culture.
The creative challenge here was to capture the beauty of the property in a way that felt more intimate and human — moving beyond static architecture into something more lived-in and alive.

Anchored by Kohanaiki’s tagline, Home Happens Here, our team embraced the idea of “Home” as a feeling—captured through first-person moments that reveal the property’s many dimensions, from quiet rituals to vibrant community life.
As Art Director, I led our team in establishing a visual language that prioritized natural light, movement, and authentic moments—guiding on-set decisions to capture imagery that felt real and connected.
This was about presence — and letting each frame carry its own weight.
